Welcome to the fourth day of Genius Camp!
As soon as we got inside, we immediately went back out and took a walk to the park to get our blood pumping. From the park we took about a 7-10 block walk to the library. At the library, we were allowed to take one book to bring home, but we had to check out another to read at camp. Ms.Kate, the librarian, told us the history of the library. It was originally someone’s home, but the Latters bought it and made it a library. We also signed up for the summer reading program. They gave us a FREE BOOK! Score!
After we got back, we ate lunch and took a break. A lot of us were very tired. After lunch, we got on the computers and logged onto Tinkercad. Tinkercad is a website where you can create an object and print it out on a 3D printer. At the moment, we are learning everything about Tinkercad because later in the summer we are going to use it to create an object that can fly. Whoever’s object is the most original will be printed.
Then, we talked about our Genius Hour project. For the Genius Hour project, we take one hour everyday to work on something that we have always wanted to accomplish . At the end of the camp we will present the object at the Microsoft store in the Lake Side Mall.
Thanks for reading! Have a nice day!
